Elbow pain is not always considered serious. Elbow pain can be caused due to strenuous physical activities. The elbow is a complex joint in the human body. It allows one to flex, extend and rotate the forearm and hand. A combination of these actions makes movements. Sometimes, it is difficult to pinpoint the exact cause of pain.

The doctor may also ask some questions to pinpoint the symptoms. He/she may also suggest for an X-ray which will help to diagnose the condition. If doubts to have another underlying condition, the doctor may suggest a suitable diagnostic procedure.

Treatments

Treatment options may vary according to the cause of elbow pain. Some of the common treatment options include
